Is it permissible for a traveler to shorten their prayers upon reaching their place of residence and work?

A traveler completes his prayer and the ruling of his travel ceases upon reaching his homeland, or the place where his espoused wife resides, or by intending to stay more than four days. Likewise, the traveler must pray in full if he prays behind a resident. Therefore, it is not permissible to shorten the prayer after arriving at the place of residence and work.
