What is the ruling regarding a woman who swore upon the Mushaf that she would not anger her husband, but then angered him forgetfully, and what must she do as an expiation?

The oath sworn by the questioner, her sister, on the Quran not to anger her husband, is a binding oath, whether she held the Quran or not. Her breaking of the oath out of forgetfulness incurs no sin or expiation, unless she meant that she forgot having sworn by the Quran while knowing that she had sworn an oath. In that case, expiation becomes obligatory upon the breach of the oath, and it is explained in Fatwa No. 31055. If she angers her husband again after her first breach, expiation is not repeated for the same oath, because an oath is dissolved by its breach, unless the wording of the oath implies repetition, or she intended by her oath that the expiation be repeated with the repetition of the forbidden act.
