What is the meaning of sending blessings upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and what is its benefit for his noble person if it means supplication, given that we are in need of his supplication and intercession? So how can we ask the Almighty to bestow upon His beloved Chosen One, when this matter is already settled?

Praying upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is a reward for him and an obedience to Allah's command. Those who benefit from it are the supplicants themselves, for it is a means of drawing closer to Allah and fulfilling the Prophet's right upon us. It is also a proof of pure belief, sincere intention, and love for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
