The basic ruling for cosmetic surgery is prohibition. It is permissible only if it serves a therapeutic purpose or removes a disfigurement. It is not permissible to perform it for the sake of beauty and enhancement.
Therefore, if the size of the nose does not reach the extent of disfigurement, cosmetic surgery is not permissible. The intention to repent afterward is not sufficient, as death may overtake a person before it, or they may not be granted success in it.
