Is planning for work, while saying "Insha'Allah" (God willing), rewarded, and what is the evidence for this from the attributes of Allah Almighty?

Planning and managing affairs are permissible and do not contradict reliance on Allah, as long as the heart is attached to Him, the Almighty. Islamic law has commanded taking means, just as it made faith a means to enter Paradise. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, planned for wars and the Hijra.

However, the believer is certain that what he plans for will not occur except by the will of Allah, as Allah the Almighty says: "And you do not will except that Allah wills – Lord of the worlds." (Quran 81:29). And due to His command, the Almighty: "And never say of anything, 'Indeed, I will do that tomorrow,' Except [that you add], 'If Allah wills.'" (Quran 18:23-24).

There is hope for reward for whoever obeys Allah the Almighty's command regarding the exception when stating what he intends to do. His reward will be according to the attachment of his heart to Allah and his reliance upon Him, and according to the type of matter planned for (permissible, obligatory, recommended, disliked). A good intention can transform a permissible act into an act of devotion and obedience for which one is rewarded.
