Is it permissible to give zakat to a married daughter and a married brother, and can it be divided between them or given in full?

It is permissible for a father to give Zakat to his married daughter if she is in hardship and unable to support herself, or if she is in debt. However, it is not permissible to give her Zakat if she is under a husband who provides for her, even if she is poor. If the husband becomes unable to provide for her, scholars have two opinions regarding the father's obligation to support her. The more cautious approach is to give the Zakat to the daughter's poor husband. As for giving Zakat to a poor brother, it is permissible and encouraged. It is permissible to give the entire Zakat to the daughter or to the brother, or to divide it between them, provided that the Zakat recipient is not given more than what suffices them and their dependents for one year.
