Which of the two marriages is more stable in Islam: marriage after a love story, or a marriage arranged by the family?

The stability of a marriage built on love varies depending on the lawfulness of the pre-marital relationship. If the relationship was within the bounds of Islamic law, and neither party overstepped, then it is hoped that the marriage will be stable and successful, fulfilling the saying of the Prophet, peace be upon him: "We have not seen for two who love each other anything like marriage."

However, if the relationship was unlawful and involved transgressions, then the resulting marriage is often unstable, due to a lack of blessing and mutual suspicion between the spouses, which may lead to a poor marital relationship.

Regarding the choice made by the family, if the choice is good and the husband agrees to it, then it is hoped that the marriage will be stable. But if the choice is poor or the husband does not agree to it, then this marriage is often destined for failure and instability.
