What should I do when I find a piece of paper with the name of Allah on it in an inappropriate place, and Satan whispers to me about people's stares and words if I pick it up?

One must glorify the sacred symbols and rituals of Allah Almighty. Glorifying the symbols of Allah is an indication of piety in hearts and soundness of faith, as it follows from glorifying and exalting Allah. A Muslim should not leave the name of Allah Almighty in an inappropriate place, nor should he heed the whispers of Satan or the gazes of others when removing the name of Allah from an unsuitable place. If he sees something discarded that contains the mention of Allah and it is easy for him to remove it without hardship, he should pick it up and place it in an appropriate location, or dispose of it by burning, burying, or shredding in a way that obliterates the essence of the words.
