Is it permissible to supplicate for a deceased woman and visit her grave, and will that cause her torment?

The supplication of the living for the dead and visiting graves do not harm the deceased; rather, they may benefit them. What harms the deceased is weeping loudly and wailing. The deceased is tormented by wailing, according to the majority of scholars, if they had enjoined it. However, if they did not enjoin it, they are not tormented, due to the Almighty's saying: "And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another."
