Is it permissible to perform tayammum to touch the Mushaf when one is too lazy to perform wudu', and what is the validity of the opinion of some scholars regarding this?

It has been previously explained that touching the Mushaf (copy of the Qur’an) while in a state of minor ritual impurity (hadath asghar) is forbidden according to the four Imams. Therefore, one should not perform tayammum (dry ablution) to touch the Mushaf if water is available and one is able to use it. Tayammum is only permissible when water is not available or one is unable to use it. Laziness is not considered a valid excuse that permits tayammum. It is advisable to seek refuge in Allah from laziness, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to seek refuge from it.
