Is it permissible for a father to reject every suitor for his daughter after she rejected a specific person, under the pretext of fearing that he would wrong her, knowing that she was not convinced by the first person and rejected him after her father persuaded her?

A girl has the right to refuse a suitor if she does not find him suitable, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A virgin should not be married until her permission is sought." It is not permissible for the father to punish her by preventing her from marrying a suitable man who proposes to her, under the pretext that she refused a specific young man, due to the strife and corruption that would result from that, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If there comes to you one whose character and religious commitment you approve of, then marry him. If you do not do so, there will be tribulation on earth and widespread corruption."
