What should a female student do to perform the Dhuhr and Asr prayers if she spends her day at the university studying and there is no place available for wudu and prayer?
Delaying the prayer beyond its prescribed time is a major sin, based on Allah's saying: (So woe to those who pray, [But] who are heedless of their prayer) and His saying: (Then succeeded them a posterity who neglected prayers and pursued desires; so they are going to meet evil). Being preoccupied with studying is not an excuse for delaying prayer or combining them. Therefore, she must repent and perform the prayer at its proper time in any pure place at the university, as the entire earth is a mosque for Muslims. It is not obligatory to perform it at the very beginning of its time, but it must not be missed entirely, and congregational prayer is not obligatory for her. If she needs to perform ablution and cannot find water, she should perform (dry ablution) and pray within the time, and she does not need to repeat the prayer.
