Is it permissible for my husband to miss Friday prayer under the pretext of taking the children to school at the time of Friday prayer, knowing that I am able to do so, but he believes it is impermissible for me to do so?

A husband has no excuse for missing the Friday prayer if it is possible to send the children to school and the path is safe. He must fear Allah and be wary of abandoning the Friday prayer, for it has been authentically narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever abandons three Friday prayers out of negligence, Allah will seal his heart." It is forbidden for a Muslim to delay joining the Friday call until the sermon ends; rather, he must hasten immediately.
