What is the ruling on intentionally missing the Friday prayer, and how should one deal with someone who misses it in terms of eating, speaking, and socializing?

Abandoning Friday prayer without a valid excuse is a major sin. A severe warning has been reported concerning whoever misses it three times due to negligence: Allah will seal his heart, and he will become one of the heedless. Therefore, the one who abandons it must repent, turn to Allah, and maintain his prayers. He can be advised gently and wisely, without abandonment or offense.
