Is it permissible for one who does not perform the obligatory prayers to pray only the Friday prayer, and what is the ruling on that?

Whoever intentionally misses a prayer until its time expires commits a grave sin; some scholars even consider him a renegade disbeliever who has apostatized from the religion of Islam. Thus, whoever misses the five daily prayers commits five sins, each greater than adultery, theft, and murder. Whoever does so must repent to Allah and observe prayers at their prescribed times. As for one who prays Jumu'ah but misses the other prayers, although his sin is lighter than one who never prays at all, he is still in great danger and must obey Allah in all His commands and observe the five obligatory prayers.
