Is it permissible to give a non-Muslim a picture frame containing his image, knowing that placing pictures in homes is disliked for Muslims?

It is not permissible to gift photographic images of living beings, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, due to the potential for them to be hung up and for exaggeration to occur regarding their subjects.
