Is a wife, divorced in a state of extreme anger three times while pregnant, and taken back by her husband two days later, still considered his wife, and is an expiation (kaffarah) obligatory upon him for that?

If a husband repeats the word "divorce" three times, and he intended affirmation, it is considered one divorce. If he intended to effect three divorces, then it is three according to the majority of scholars. If he did not intend anything, it is one. If the divorce is less than three, the husband can take his wife back before the expiry of her 'iddah (waiting period), and his informing her of the return during the 'iddah is considered valid. If the husband intended three divorces, then it is three according to the majority of scholars, but Ibn Taymiyyah holds that it is one divorce. As for the divorce of an angry person, it does not take effect if the anger is so severe that he does not comprehend what he is saying. It does take effect if he is aware of what he is saying. The divorce of a pregnant woman is valid and is a Sunnah divorce. There is no expiation (kaffarah) upon the husband; rather, he must exercise reason and control his anger.
