What is your eminence’s opinion regarding the advice of some sheikhs against reading the two books "Kitab al-Tawhid" and "Al-Durar al-Saniyyah" by Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, on the pretext that they advocate for excommunicating society?

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab is one of the guiding luminaries and callers to the truth. He was known for the soundness of his creed and his call to the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah. His reliance in his books was on adducing evidence from the Qur'an and the Sunnah, and the sayings of the imams of goodness, and he denounced belief in other than Allah. As for excommunication (takfir), it is a misconception spread by his enemies. The Shaykh observed the principles of takfir, excommunicating only those whom Allah and His Messenger have excommunicated, provided the conditions are met and the impediments are absent. He would excommunicate anyone who knew the religion of the Messenger yet slandered it and showed enmity towards those who practiced it. There is nothing in his books that justifies warning against them.
