Firstly, it is not permissible to uncover the face of the deceased in the grave, whether male or female.

Secondly, many scholars recommend covering the woman's bier with a dome or similar structure placed over the bed and covered with a cloth to further conceal her. This practice has been reported from some companions and Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. As for a man, it is not sunnah to cover his bier with a dome.
