Is it permissible for non-mahram men to see the face of a deceased woman if her entire body and hair are covered, knowing that she did not cover her face during her lifetime, and will she be punished for that?

Allah has honored humanity, both alive and dead. It is not permissible to look at the face of a deceased Muslim woman except for other women or her mahram relatives. However, there is no harm in looking at the face of a deceased elderly woman (over eighty years old), even by non-mahram men, because it is permissible to look at the face of an elderly woman during her lifetime. Nevertheless, it is preferable for non-women and non-mahram individuals to refrain from looking. It is also commendable to cover the woman's coffin with a cloth as a form of modesty. If the deceased is young, the prohibition against looking at her is directed at the living, and she incurs no sin from this after her death.
