Are there currently people in Paradise and Hell, or are they empty?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is the first to enter Paradise on theọn Day of Judgment. Paradise and Hellfire are both created and exist now. People who have died remain in their barzakh (interim) life and will not enter Paradise or Hellfire until after their resurrection. However, they experience comfort or torment in the barzakh. For instance, the souls of martyrs are in the crops of green birds, roaming freely in Paradise, while some disobedient individuals are tormented in their graves. The people of Pharaoh are exposed to the Fire morning and evening. And every righteous or wicked person sees their destined place in Paradise or Hellfire.
