Does Allah's saying, "And let those who oppose His command beware..." include whoever acts upon one of the two opinions of the people of knowledge regarding taking from the beard, whether it is what exceeds a fistful or is less than that?

The warning mentioned in the noble verse is directed at whoever abandons the divinely ordained ruling after it has become clearly evident to them, turning away from it, and adopting something else without any ambiguity, interpretation, or permissible imitation. The verb "يخالفون" (they differ) is used with the preposition "عن" (from) to imbue it with the meaning of turning away and indifference. Muslims have unanimously agreed that whoever has the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, made clear to them, it is not permissible for them to abandon it for the saying of anyone. As for whoever disobeys the command of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, due to permissible imitation or interpretation, and it does not become apparent to them that they are disobeying him, it cannot be said of them that they have turned away from his command.
