The answer

A wife has the right to seek separation from a sexually incapacitated husband through divorce (talaq) or khul' (a form of divorce initiated by the wife), if she is harmed by staying with him and fears losing her rights. If she prefers to stay and endure, she will be rewarded for that. However, an absentee divorce (talaq ghayabi) while remaining with him as a nurse is impermissible, for divorce is in the husband's hand, and it is not permissible to remain with a husband after divorce because he becomes a stranger.
