It is permissible for you to perform I'tikaf (spiritual retreat) a second time in the last ten days of the same month; in fact, it is recommended, and it is more emphasized during the last ten days of . There is nothing against you as long as you did not vow to perform continuous I'tikaf. Intercourse only invalidates the continuity of I'tikaf, according to the Almighty's saying: ﴿And do not have sexual relations with them while you are in I'tikaf in the mosques﴾ [Quran 2:187]. Your going home without a need also invalidates the I'tikaf.
