What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding a muezzin who collects empty alcohol bottles to sell them after the dawn prayer, and what is the ruling concerning his adhan and iqamah?

Selling empty bottles to someone who will use them for unlawful purposes is impermissible. However, selling them to someone who will not use them for unlawful purposes is not forbidden, although it is better not to do so to avoid suspicion. Selling empty bottles to someone who will use them for unlawful purposes does not affect the validity of the Adhan (call to prayer) and Iqama (second call to prayer) performed by the one doing so. Nevertheless, prayer should deter its performer from indecency and evil. If possible, replacing him with another muezzin is better, for the position of muezzin is an honor and a distinction that is not deserved by one in such a state.
