It was previously mentioned in no. 107936 that prayer behind a person who lets his garment hang below the ankles is valid, and the sin is on the person who lets his garment hang alone, unless his belief is infidel. This is based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Pray behind every righteous and wicked person." Narrated by Al-Daraqutni and Al-Bayhaqi, and graded as by Al-Albani.
