Is the ḥadīth that describes the Prophet's vision of women being tormented on the Night of Isra and Mi'raj due to certain actions, and which concludes with the statement: "Woe to a woman who angers her husband, and blessed is a woman with whom her husband is pleased," a fabricated ḥadīth?

The aforementioned hadith (definition) is fabricated and falsely attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and it has no basis in the books of the Ahl al-Sunnah (definition) (Sunnis). Ibn Hajar al-Haytami mentioned it in "Al-Zawajir" on the authority of some scholars, and it is found in some Shiite books with a chain of narration containing liars and unknown individuals. The Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta' has deemed this publication to be a fabrication, and it must be refuted, torn up, warned against, and its disseminators punished. Sheikh Ibn Baz said: "This report is false and fabricated, falsely attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and it is among the fabricated topics falsely attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and to Ali and Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with them." Whoever comes across any of this should destroy it and inform those around them that it is a lie.
