Is it permissible to remove the hijab in front of those who are several years younger or older than us, without there being any relation between us?

A woman must observe hijab in front of all men, young and old. Allah has not considered age difference a justification for abandoning hijab. The exceptions to this are a child who does not understand women's affairs and cannot differentiate between a beautiful and an unattractive woman, or an elderly male attendant who has no sexual desire, based on Allah's saying: "And let them not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no sexual desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women."
