What is the authenticity of the story mentioned in Tafsir Abi al-Su'ud concerning the death of Iblis, and the time of this death?

This story has no chain of transmission (isnad) except in the book "Tanbih al-Ghafilin" by Abu al-Layth al-Samarqandi, with a flawed isnad that cannot be relied upon due to a significant斷 (inqita') between its narrators, and the absence of a biography for one of them (Muhammad bin Musa bin Raja') except in books of al-Mushtabih. A number of scholars mentioned the story without an isnad, and it seems they took it from Abu al-Layth's book.
