Is it established that if a servant sleeps while seeking forgiveness, the angels complete it for him, and is it necessary for a woman to wear socks for the angels to be present during prayer?

Seeking forgiveness (Istighfar) is one of the remembrances before sleep, as mentioned in the hadith of Ibn Umar. However, it has not been reported that angels complete the Istighfar for a sleeper if sleep overcomes him while he is seeking forgiveness. We have not found this in any authentic or weak hadiths. It is known that angels generally seek forgiveness for believers, as indicated by scriptural texts. As for a woman covering her feet in prayer with socks or other coverings, the reason for this is to cover the feet because they are 'awrah (parts of the body that must be covered), and not for the presence of angels.
