What is the authenticity of the narration whose purport is that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, offered his cloak to whoever would pray without thinking, whereupon Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, prayed and mentioned that he had thought about the kind of cloak he would give him? And what is its source?

"Self-talk during prayer does not invalidate it, but it diminishes its reward. The Companions complained about this to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who then instructed them to spit lightly to their left three times and seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan. As for the story mentioned about the Prophet giving his cloak to someone who did not engage in self-talk during prayer, it has no basis and is a fabrication. A Muslim should strive for humility in their prayer, reflect on what they recite, and seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan if he whispers to them."
