What is the ruling on listening to the Holy Quran in a place where alcohol is consumed?

If your work involves intoxicants, such as serving, carrying, or cleaning their containers, or any other forbidden things, then it is not permissible, based on the Almighty's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression."

It is also forbidden to work if it involves serving disbelievers, such as washing their clothes or cooking for them, as this entails humiliation for the Muslim.

It is forbidden for a Muslim to sit in a place where intoxicants are served, due to the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him not sit at a table where intoxicants are circulated." Consequently, it is not permissible to listen to the Quran in places where intoxicants are served, out of reverence for the Quran and to protect it from impure places.
