Are we required to clarify what was revealed and what the prophets (peace be upon them) mentioned in the context of inviting contemporary disbelievers to what was revealed to us were given?

One must believe in what was revealed to the prophets in general, and in what was detailed in the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah. When inviting disbelievers to Allah, what has been detailed in the Book and Sunnah must be conveyed and explained, in accordance with His (the Almighty's) saying: "Convey what has been sent down to you from your Lord," and the Hadith: "Convey from me, even if it be a single verse." As for what has not been authenticated in the Book and Sunnah but is narrated in the Isra'iliyyat (Jewish traditions), it is not obligatory to explain or believe in it due to the possibility of its inaccuracy, nor to disbelieve in it due to the possibility of its truth, as per the Hadith: "Do not believe the People of the Book, nor disbelieve them."
