Is it permissible for employees to receive monthly bonuses from a private company, with which their governmental body contracts for data selling, in exchange for their discipline and accuracy at work?

It is not permissible to accept a bonus except with the permission of an authorized government official, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Gifts to officials are ill-gotten gains." Whoever takes anything from it must return it to the company. If he is unable to do so, he must give it to the authority for which he works. However, if the authorized official permits it, then there is no harm in taking it.
