What should a person do who lives in an environment that cultivates drugs, and his father works in it, and he has been unable to obtain a lawful livelihood despite attempts, and fears that his deeds or supplications will not be accepted due to suspicions, and suffers from whispers of despair and despondency?

As long as you are repentant and keen on earning lawful sustenance, and you have exerted all your effort, then there is no blame upon you, Allah willing. You will not be among those whose deeds are not accepted. Seek help from Allah, remain firm in your repentance, continue to earn lawful sustenance, and do not despair. Know that this world is a place of trial, and a trial may be a sign of Allah's love for His servant. Your fear of the unlawful and your keenness on the lawful are signs of divine success, so rejoice and rely on Him and frequently remember and supplicate Him; for He does not disappoint those who hope in Him. Allah Almighty says: "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah – then He is sufficient for him."
