Is it permissible for a father and a son to marry sisters?

There is no objection to a son marrying his stepmother's sister, or a father marrying his son's wife's sister. They are not among the forbidden (women), and they fall under the general meaning of Allah's saying: "And lawful for you are [all others] beyond these."
