What is the authenticity of the hadiths and verses that speak of the virtues of Egypt, and do the claims of some regarding the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) not marrying Sayyida Maria al-Qibtiyya, their denial of the hadith "When Allah grants you the conquest of Egypt, treat its people with kindness, for they have a kinship and marital relation with us," and their interpretation of the verse "Go down to a city (Misr), and you will find what you asked for" contradict what is commonly accepted regarding the veneration of Egypt in religious texts?

Prophetic hadiths have been narrated recommending kindness to the people of Egypt, citing as evidence that Hajar, the mother of Isma'il, and Mariyah, the mother of Ibrahim, may Allah be pleased with them both, were Coptic women from Egypt. Mariyah was a concubine and not a wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

Interpreters have differed on the meaning of "Misr" mentioned in the Quran, whether it refers to a specific country or any city (misr) among cities.

As for the hadith, "The people of Egypt are the best soldiers on earth," its chain of narration is weak.

The authenticity of the Nile's origin from Paradise is established, as is the entry of prophets such as Moses, Joseph, and Jesus, peace be upon them, into Egypt.

However, there is no connection between the Prophet of Allah, Job, peace be upon him, and the land of Egypt.
