Is a son considered disobedient if he cuts ties with his parents and stops visiting them after discovering their practice of black magic against him and his wife, and their financial exploitation of him?

It is recommended to seek refuge in Allah and supplicate frequently, and to consistently perform ruqyah (exorcism) and adhkar (remembrances). It is not permissible to accuse the mother of sorcery without proof, and if it is proven, she should be advised gently, while emphasizing that sorcery is a major sin. These accusations do not justify severing ties with parents or being undutiful towards them; rather, one must treat them with kindness, even if they are disbelievers. As for housing the wife, obedience to parents in housing her with them is not obligatory, and they should be discussed with gently, explaining that the husband is legally obligated to provide a separate dwelling for his wife.
