What should a wife do with her husband who evades the marital relationship, prefers to sleep far away from her, and does not care about her feelings and desires? And is she considered Islamically divorced by his saying to her: "Go to your father's house, and tomorrow your paper will reach you"?

If the husband does not treat his wife kindly, the wife should pray to Allah for his guidance, advise him gently, and remind him of her rights upon him. If he persists in his refusal and she fears harm, she may request a divorce, although patience is better to avoid the consequences of divorce, especially for the children. The reason for his behavior might be magic (sihr) or jinn possession (mass), in which case he is advised to be treated with Ruqyah (Islamic exorcism). The husband’s statement to his wife, "Go to your father's house," is an ambiguous divorce pronouncement (kinayah), which does not constitute a divorce unless he intended it as such.
