Is a son who died at the age of three and a half due to a perforated intestine that led to peritonitis considered a martyr? If so, how many of his family members will he intercede for? And will God punish the mother for objecting to God's decree at the beginning of the calamity and believing that her son's death is a punishment for her?

The calamity of losing a son is met with patience and seeking reward from Allah, in order to attain recompense. Since everything we possess belongs to Allah, grief will not bring the son back. We ask Allah for patience and avoid discontent. A person who dies from an abdominal illness is considered "mabṭūn" (one who dies of an internal disease) and is among the martyrs. It is hoped that your child is one of them. Martyrs of battle have special qualities, such as interceding for seventy of their relatives, while "martyrs of the hereafter" only receive the reward of martyrs. Muslim children intercede for their parents; we hope that your son will intercede for you and his mother so that you may enter Paradise.
