How can one avoid disobeying the mother while continuing to dispute over work, and is it permissible to deal with her as a manager in expressing opinions, and is requesting privacy considered a mistake?

Kindness and benevolence towards the mother are obligatory duties. Allah Almighty has commanded this and forbidden everything that harms her. The person most deserving of good companionship is the mother, then the mother, then the mother, then the father. One must be keen on showing kindness and benevolence to the mother, avoiding raising one's voice at her or not responding to her. If a discussion with her becomes necessary, one must control one's words, lower one's voice, and maintain self-control. Disobeying parents is intentionally harming them in a way that is conventionally understood as disobedience. If the mother is a partner in business, one must speak to her gently and respectfully, without raising one's voice, always remembering that she is a mother and should not be treated in a manner that is unfitting for her. If she is discussing private matters with the husband, she can be gently and respectfully informed that the matter is private to them.
