Do the children of the deceased's sister inherit from him if his sister died after him, and he has sons and daughters?
Your paternal aunt does not inherit as long as your father has male children; for the son blocks out the siblings. And if the paternal aunt is not an heir, then her children, by even greater right, do not inherit from their maternal uncle. However, if the paternal aunt died after her mother, then she inherits from her mother, and her share transfers to her heirs. The grandmother inherits one-sixth of her son's (your father's) estate, and this one-sixth transfers to her heirs, among whom is her daughter who died after her. The daughter's share of the one-sixth transfers to her heirs, so they inherit their mother's share. The matter should be referred to the courts or experts should be consulted to ascertain the heirs, bequests, and debts.
