Is it better not to marry to avoid falling into actions resembling those of animals by married people?
Marriage is a blessing, a natural inclination, the Sunnah of the Prophets, a means for the continuation of progeny, and for populating the earth. Allah Almighty says: (And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He put affection and mercy between you; verily in that are signs for a people who reflect). The Prophet, peace be upon him, encouraged it by saying: "Whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not of me." The desire for it has been placed by Allah for great wisdoms, among them the continuation of progeny, the populating of the earth, achieving companionship and enjoyment, and earning reward, as in his saying, peace be upon him: "And in the sexual act of one of you there is charity." The fact that animals also mate does not mean that marriage is a defect; rather, it is proof that it is a Sunnah and a natural inclination. Sin falls upon whoever forbids what Allah has made lawful, and whoever condemns what Allah has commanded.
