Is the Hadith "This world is the farming ground for the Hereafter" authentic, and what is it?

This Hadith was mentioned by Mulla Ali al-Qari in Al-Mawdu'at (Fabricated Hadiths), and he quoted Al-Sakhawi as saying: "I have not come across it." Mulla Ali al-Qari also mentioned that its meaning is sound, derived from the Almighty's saying: {Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter - We increase for him in his harvest} [Ash-Shura:20].
