We advise you to be patient and make supplications (du'a), for in them are the elevation of ranks and the expiation of sins. If you fear that the environment is the cause of your illness, your father may understand your departure from the country, because it is typical for a father to feel compassion for his child. If your father does not approve of that and orders you to stay, you are not obligated to stay if it causes harm, for obedience is due in what is good and right, and it is not considered good or right for a father to order his child to do something that harms him.
