Does a wife inherit her husband if she is divorced without official documentation, given disputes over the furniture list?

An agent may only act within the bounds of what the principal has authorized him to do. If he oversteps, his action is not valid unless ratified by the principal. If the principal incurs damage due to the agent's transgression, the agent is liable for that damage. It is not a condition for divorce to be formalized. A woman divorced before consummation does not inherit from her husband and is not required to observe an 'iddah (waiting period).
