The hiring of individuals can either be for a specific period or for a specific task. It is not permissible to combine both, as this adds ambiguity and corruption to the contract. A corrupt contract necessitates a fair market wage (ujrat al-mithl). However, if the contract is for one of these two options, it is valid. Regarding the distribution of newspapers, it is not permissible if they contain anything unlawful. As for the dawn adhan (definition) before Fajr, it is established in the Sunnah (definition) and does not suffice for the adhan after the break of dawn. It does not affect the validity of the prayer if it is performed at its appointed time.
