What is the Islamic ruling regarding what the administrators, moderators, and site owner do concerning sections for downloading satellite channels and explanations for searching for channels and satellites, and what must they do now?
Our advice to those mentioned is to realize the gravity of assisting in disobedience to Allah, for Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate not in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty" (Al-Ma'idah: 2). So, whoever assists in a sin is sinful and a partner to the doer in the sin, as evidenced by the Prophetic Sunnah, such as the hadith: "Whoever calls to misguidance will have a sin similar to the sins of those who follow him," and the hadith: "Whoever introduces a bad practice in Islam, and it is acted upon after him, will have a sin similar to the sin of whoever acts upon it." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses, and said: "They are all equal." Therefore, they must prevent the downloading of corrupt channels and whatever aids in accessing them, and alert members and visitors to the حرمة (prohibition) of downloading and viewing forbidden content, and clarify that they do not permit anyone to use the website to access what is forbidden.
