Is it obligatory for someone afflicted by the evil eye to remove their clothes to perform ghusl using the remnants of the envier?

The washing of the afflicted (Ma'yun) by the one who cast the evil eye (A'in) is established in the Sunnah, and the apparent meaning of the narrations does not necessitate the afflicted to be unclothed. It has been mentioned in some narrations, "he pours upon him" and "he pours upon his head and his back from behind him," which confirms that he does not need to be unclothed. Some scholars have stated that this pouring should be done suddenly, meaning abruptly, and that the afflicted person is caught unawares and has the water poured upon him. This also implies that he is not unclothed.
