Is it permissible to divorce one's wife without paying the deferred dower, given her refusal to leave her job, and considering her disobedient (nashiz)?

It is not the husband's right to force his wife to quit her job if he married her while knowing about her work and was content with it or permitted her to do it, especially if that work was a commitment prior to the marriage. In this case, he does not have the right to prevent her from fulfilling what she committed to, nor does he have the right to travel with her to another place that would prevent her from completing her commitment. If the husband insists on her traveling or leaving her job, then he must look for other solutions, such as seeking employment for himself in his wife's place of residence. Otherwise, he has no option but to keep her or divorce her and give her her full mahr.
